Only Publisher to Have Three Top-Ten Titles for the Calendar

Sydney, Australia – January 25, 2005 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that according to GFK Australia the company was the fastest growing top-10 publisher in Australia ending calendar 2004 with a 10% PC market share, the highest in its history. Additionally, Activision was the only publisher to have three top-10 titles for the calendar year – id Software’s DOOM 3™, which ranked as the #3 best-selling game, Rome: Total War™, which was the #5 best-selling title and Call of Duty™, which was the #7 best-selling game.
“This is a significant result for us and we are delighted with the performance of these top-selling brands, especially Call of Duty, which launched in 2003 and has remained a top-10 PC game for the second consecutive year,” stated Paul Butcher, Marketing Director, Activision Asia-Pacific. “These games represent some of the strongest PC titles we have ever released and underscores Activision’s commitment to producing quality game experiences.”
