The good people at ACMI have been kind enough to give Buttonhole some free passes to Game On. As much as I'd like to just rock up and use them all myself, I think they might get a bit suspicious after a while. So, being my ticket scalping skills are about as good as George Costanza's, here's what will happen.
There will be a painfully easy question or two, and the first people to accurately answer both questions and email the answers to me at
australianninja@buttonhole.com.au
will receive a free ticket to Game On. And all the spam-bots that will inevitably send me offers of pills for enlarging bodily appendages or seedy foreign business deals can go jump in a lake.
The Game On exhibition will be held in Melbourne's Federation Square at ACMI - Thursday 6 March 2008 - Sunday 13 July 2008
Onward dear reader, to the questions that do not resemble statements at all....
Q1. Name the 1980s Nintendo game that features a barrel throwing giant monkey/gorilla who steals Jumpman's girlfriend and climbs up a construction site?
Q2. Name the 1980s NAMCO game that features a small yellow circular character who likes to chomp on magic pills while listening to repetitive electronic music?
If you need a clue, click here
(both the accurate answers are contained within the linked page).
After you've answered those questions, check out the trailer.
